Shaun Hanrahan
I run a self-hosted home lab in Limerick, Ireland, and build the software and hardware around it.
Scroll to look inside, or read the plain version.
A mid-tower ATX build, side panel on.
What I do
Most of it lives in Docker: home automation, a media server, DNS, and a handful of small services. Off the screen I design and 3D-print parts, keep a couple of MeshCore repeaters running around the city, and fly FPV.
The processor, under a tower air cooler, with two memory modules beside it.
Projects
- HAM Live 3D globe of satellites in orbit, with pass predictions and transmitter frequencies.
- SHEIN Container Firefox extension that keeps shein.com in its own container tab.
- Ender-3 S1 Pro config Klipper configuration for a heavily modified Creality printer.
- Volkcraft Minecraft server I host for friends.

The graphics card, in the main PCIe slot.
Home lab
Home Assistant, Plex and the arr stack, and Pi-hole for DNS, all containerised and running at home.
An NVMe drive on the board and a SATA SSD on the power supply shroud.
Networking
I keep a couple of MeshCore repeaters running around Limerick: small LoRa radios that pass messages between nodes without the internet or the phone network.
The rear I/O: the network port and its link lights, USB, and the Wi-Fi antenna above.
